Filomena
Filomena was born and raised in Muro Lucano in Potenza Italy. While attending university in Rome, she met her husband when he asked for directions to the Trevi Fountain! (can’t you just imagine the movie?).
Decades later, she now lives in Cranford NJ with her husband, three children and their sweet pup. Filomena’s first job in the US was with an Italian travel agent, planning trips for clients to her beloved Italy.
After moving to Cranford, she opened Ciao Amici to share her native language and culture, and later decided to add travel to Ciao Amici’s offerings. Ciao Amici offers group travel, customized trips, destination wedding planning and enchanting honeymoons. When Filomena joins you on each group trip it is like traveling with your Italian relative.
She ensures that every detail is taken care of and your trip is stress free and most of all, authentic. And she is only a phone call away for your customized trips. She has personal relationships with her hand picked tour guides, hotels and experiences such as wine tastings, limoncello tastings and pasta making classes.
